St Andrews School

St Andrews School was opened in 1978 and has now evolved into a mixed day and residential special school for young people aged between 11 and 19 years with severe learning difficulties.  In addition we have three classes whose main learning difficulty is Autism.

St Andrews provides: 

• Small classes and highly qualified and experienced teachers and teaching assistant staff.

• Emphasis on individual education programmes, particularly language and communication, self-help and independence, alongside access to the National Curriculum subjects.

• A welcoming, co-operative and supportive environment for parents and families.
