The principle aim of the school is to provide a stimulating, challenging and caring environment that allows everyone to develop to their full potential.
We aim:
- to deliver a curriculum which is broad, balanced and relevant to each individual pupil
- to create a happy and positive learning environment, fostering mutual respect, consideration for others and personal responsibility
- to be committed to developing positive relationships with parents, promoting education as a partnership between home and school
- to establish effective working relationships with other professionals, for the benefit of all at St Andrews School
- to promote St Andrews School as part of the wider community.
Our objectives will include as appropriate:
- access to the National Curriculum for 11 - 16 year olds
- a range of further education opportunities for 16 - 19 year olds, including a Life-skills programme, college and community placements, work experience and access to nationally recognised qualifications.
At St Andrews we respect and value everyone equally regardless of sex, colour or creed and we believe that by working together we can all be helped to develop and learn.
